Ethan DeLorenzo is a photographer, filmmaker and recording artist whose work also includes farming and land-based projects. He became a subject of wider celebrity coverage when actress Victoria Pedretti publicly announced their engagement in July 2025. His own portfolio, however, documents a creative career that extends beyond their relationship.
For readers looking up Ethan DeLorenzo’s age, career or connection to Jena Malone, the clearest starting points are his professional website, his published interview and dated entertainment reporting. These sources help separate documented work from personal details that have not been confirmed.

Who is Ethan DeLorenzo?
DeLorenzo presents himself as a multidisciplinary creative rather than someone working in only one medium. His website About page identifies photography, directing, recording, gardening and naturalism among his interests and activities.
His website organizes work into photography, film, music, ceramics, books, art installations and land projects. Those sections are useful for understanding the breadth of his practice, although a portfolio category alone does not establish a particular commission, award or commercial credit.
The distinction matters because relationship headlines can obscure the work that preceded them. Looking at named films and a firsthand interview gives a more concrete picture than describing him only as a celebrity’s partner.
Ethan DeLorenzo age and background
DeLorenzo’s own website lists 1991 alongside Hazleton, Pennsylvania. That places him at 34 or 35 during 2026, depending on the date of his birthday. This profile does not assign an exact age on the review date without a fully verified birth date.
His Pennsylvania background also appears in the subjects discussed in his Our Nature interview. Neither an old interview nor a portfolio location should be used to infer his present home address.
His career: music, photography and filmmaking
An early career in music
The October 2020 Our Nature episode traces his early work assisting mixer and engineer Ryan West, followed by production and engineering work and a band with Teyana Taylor.
That history should not be stretched into a claim that DeLorenzo personally produced every artist associated with West. Working with an engineer and holding a credited role on an artist’s recording are different things.
Photography across different formats
His portfolio separates photography into film, Polaroid and iPhone work. This makes the website a useful place to explore his visual practice directly, rather than relying entirely on photographs reproduced in celebrity articles.
His photographs of Pedretti have also appeared in relationship coverage. A personal photograph can document a shared moment, but it does not by itself establish when a relationship began or whether a wedding has taken place.
Selected films listed in his portfolio
DeLorenzo’s film portfolio lists the following projects. The dates and descriptions below are attributed to that self-published professional record.
| Project | Portfolio year | Format and subject |
|---|---|---|
| Stone Camp | 2017 | Short documentary about an off-grid household |
| Nih Dzih Teih (Run Free) | 2022 | Short documentary centered on Navajo ultrarunner Brandon Dugi |
| ISO | 2025 | Short-film trailer addressing an unhoused man’s experience in the redwoods |
| Cider Creek Collective | 2025 | Short documentary about a California ceramics community and its kiln firing |
The portfolio credits him as director of these projects. Its description of Cider Creek Collective also says the film’s music was made using ceramic instruments created and played within that community.
These named projects offer a more useful introduction to his filmmaking than an unsupported claim about box-office success, career earnings or total production credits. The table is a selection from his website, not a complete independently audited filmography.
Why farming and nature feature in his public work
In the 2020 podcast conversation, DeLorenzo discussed leaving a music-industry-centered life for an intentional community on Vashon Island, Washington. The interview connects his interest in farming, parenthood and slower daily rhythms with a reassessment of what he wanted from his work.
His separate Farmstad portfolio entry identifies him as a farmer and community member in Vashon. That is documentation of a project connection, not confirmation that he still lives there.
Nature and community also recur in the subjects he films. The connection is visible in the projects themselves; it does not require assumptions about his current income, property ownership or private household arrangements.
Victoria Pedretti and Ethan DeLorenzo Engagement
Victoria Pedretti and Ethan DeLorenzo publicly announced their engagement in July 2025. PEOPLE’s report dates the announcement to July 21 and describes a joint Instagram post.
Some subsequent accounts use July 22. To avoid overstating a one-day difference across reporting, the consistent reference point here is July 2025.
| Period | Documented public context | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| March 2025 | Entertainment reporting identifies photographs of Pedretti on his Instagram | The exact beginning of their relationship |
| July 2025 | The couple’s engagement becomes public | A wedding date or completed marriage |
| February 2026 | ELLE publishes a profile describing him as her fiancé | A new engagement announcement in 2026 |
| November 3, 2026 review | No reliable subsequent marriage confirmation identified in the reviewed sources | Proof of the couple’s private circumstances beyond public reporting |
Hey Alma’s July 2025 profile also notes that the beginning of their relationship was unclear. Public posting dates should therefore not be turned into a definite dating anniversary.

Ethan DeLorenzo Son and Relationship with Jena Malone
DeLorenzo was previously engaged to actress Jena Malone, and they share a son, Ode Mountain. A PEOPLE retrospective places their son’s birth in May 2016, their engagement in August 2016 and their separation in 2019.
This is a previous relationship, separate from his later engagement to Pedretti. Describing Malone as his former wife would go beyond the evidence cited here, which documents an engagement.
Parenthood is also part of DeLorenzo’s own public self-description. Further details about a child’s routine, location or private life are unnecessary to explain the adults’ documented relationship history.
