The incident had occurred on 2nd February 2015, in the parking lot of the Evershine Cosmos building in Andheri West, Mumbai. This was where Zaid and his family were living, and Prashant had been working briefly with Ismail’s production house. He confronted Zaid and Ismail and two other friends, Nishant Singh and Mohsin Khan, and demanded unpaid dues of around INR 30,000.
